Men’s (and Sons’) Hymn Sing
Providence men gather once a month for a hymn sing. To celebrate Father’s Day, sons are invited to join their dads this month! In June it will take place at Kevin Bishop’s home (2506 Winifred Dr. Roanoke). This is a great opportunity to invite a friend. We look forward to a great time of fellowship together!
PCA General Assembly
General Assembly is the annual business meeting of the Presbyterian Church in America. The denomination’s pastors (Teaching Elders) and church leaders (Ruling Elders) gather to study, discuss, debate, and decide biblical and ministry issues. Each year General Assembly is hosted in a different location, and this year it is taking place in Richmond, Virginia. Visitors are welcome to observe the proceedings. Night at the Ballpark
Make plans to join us for a night at the ballpark! We’ll be meeting outside the gate at Salem Memorial Ballpark at 6:45pm and the game begins at 7:05pm. Tickets are $8/person. Please RSVP using the sign-up sheet on the Welcome Table in the lobby and be sure to invite a friend.

Blue Ridge Women's Center Annual Walk for Life
The Blue Ridge Women’s Center invites you to join them for this year’s Walk for Life, their annual fundraising walk, on Saturday, May 4th. Blue Ridge Women’s Center is in a unique position to make an impact on the abortion rate in our city through our life-affirming services - but they cannot do it without your support. Please consider joining the Providence Presbyterian team to raise funds for BRWC.

Blue Ridge Presbytery Stated Meeting
Providence is part of the Blue Ridge Presbytery, which consists of 21 PCA churches located in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia.
The Blue Ridge Presbytery has four stated (regularly scheduled) meetings each year. Each meeting is hosted by a local church and begins with a worship service. Ruling elders and teaching elders discuss and vote on important issues within the church and our denomination, and laypeople are also invited to attend.
Please be in prayer for our church leaders and and our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America.

Inquirer's Class
In this two-part class (Friday evening from 6:00-8:30pm and Saturday morning from 9:00-11:30am), Pastor Jake will share Providence’s origins, beliefs and values, and goals. This class is required for those who want to become members of Providence, but those who take part do not have to become members. Dinner and breakfast will be provided. Childcare will not be provided. Sign up sheets are available in the lobby.

Spring Simple Supper
Join a group of Providence friends for a simple supper and table fellowship! Sign up to participate and you will be assigned to a host home with a handful of other families. We’ll plan to have 3-4 families at each home and your host will coordinate the details of the time and menu. A sign-up sheet is available on the Welcome Table.
