Weekday Park Play
All moms and children are warmly welcomed to participate in our Weekday Park Play. Each month we will meet at a new park to enjoy fellowship, fresh air, and time together. This month we’ll meet at the Moyer Park playground in Salem. Invite friends to join us!

PCA General Assembly
General Assembly is the annual business meeting of the Presbyterian Church in America. The denomination’s pastors (Teaching Elders) and church leaders (Ruling Elders) gather to study, discuss, debate, and decide biblical and ministry issues. Each year General Assembly is hosted in a different location, and this year it is taking place in Louisville, KY. Visitors are welcome to observe the proceedings. BRWC Walk for Life 2026
Please join the Providence Presbyterian Church team on Saturday, May 2nd, for a family-friendly fund-raising walk starting at Wasena Park! This annual event is a great opportunity to celebrate how God is working in this life-saving ministry. Every dollar raised goes toward protecting the lives of the unborn in our community.

Blue Ridge Presbytery Stated Meeting
Providence is part of the Blue Ridge Presbytery, which consists of 21 PCA churches located in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia.
The Blue Ridge Presbytery has four stated (regularly scheduled) meetings each year. Each meeting is hosted by a local church and begins with a worship service. Ruling elders and teaching elders discuss and vote on important issues within the church and our denomination, and laypeople are also invited to attend.
Please be in prayer for our church leaders and and our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America.

Blue Ridge Women's Center Tour
On Wednesday, April 15th, Barbara Burgess will be a leading a tour of BRWC starting at 4:00pm for the Providence church family. Come see our new facility and here how God is at work here saving lives and giving hope to men and women in unplanned pregnancies. Tour starts at 4:00pm and will be followed by an update from our CEO on the "no restrictions" abortion amendment headed to the ballot box. We will conclude by 5:00pm.
