Moms and kids of all ages are invited to Becky McConnell’s home on the first Tuesday of each month for a time to play and encourage one another.
Kids’ Summer Splash
Join us for a day at the Christiansburg Frog Pond! The pool opens at 11:00am and admission is $5 per person. Bring a lunch, stay as long as you would like, and feel free to invite others to join us, too. We’re looking forward to a fun day in the sun together!
Blue Ridge Presbytery Stated Meeting
Providence is part of the Blue Ridge Presbytery, which consists of 21 PCA churches located in the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah Valley region of Virginia.
The Blue Ridge Presbytery has four stated (regularly scheduled) meetings each year. Each meeting is hosted by a local church and begins with a worship service. Ruling elders and teaching elders discuss and vote on important issues within the church and our denomination, and laypeople are also invited to attend.
Please be in prayer for our church leaders and and our denomination, the Presbyterian Church in America.

We're doing something new this year and starting a women's book club during the summer months! Each month will feature a different book and we'll meet at a different home for fellowship and discussion.
Night at the Ballpark
Make plans to join us for a night at the ballpark! We’ll be meeting outside the gate at Salem Memorial Ballpark at 6:15pm and the game begins at 6:35pm. Tickets are $11/person. Please RSVP using the sign-up sheet on the Welcome Table in the lobby and be sure to invite a friend.

All moms and children are warmly welcomed to participate in our Weekday Park Play. Each month we will meet at a new park to enjoy fellowship, fresh air, and time together. This month we’ll meet at the Penn Forest Elementary playground in Roanoke. Invite friends to join us!

Love Life Prayer Walk
Love Life is a ministry whose goal is to unite and mobilize the Church to help bring an end to the abortion and orphan crisis. During the week of July 5th-11th, Providence will partner with Love Life Roanoke for an “adoption week.”
Sunday, July 5th: A Love Life representative will join us before worship to share more about their ministry.
Wednesday, July 8th: We have the opportunity to join other believers across the nation in prayer and fasting for the abortion crisis in our country.
Saturday, July 11th from 9:00-10:30am: You are invited to attend a peaceful prayer walk with our church family, starting at Sovereign Grace church in Roanoke (right across from Planned Parenthood).

PCA General Assembly
General Assembly is the annual business meeting of the Presbyterian Church in America. The denomination’s pastors (Teaching Elders) and church leaders (Ruling Elders) gather to study, discuss, debate, and decide biblical and ministry issues. Each year General Assembly is hosted in a different location, and this year it is taking place in Louisville, KY. Visitors are welcome to observe the proceedings.
